Save Lids to Save Lives®

 This year, Komen Mid-Michigan Affiliate supporters can impact efforts to help women in our community fighting breast cancer, because Yoplait is tracking the zip codes from lids redeemed to make sure dollars generated through local lid collection go back to local breast cancer programs in the Mid-Michigan community. More information about Yoplait’s Save Lids to Save Lives and redeeming lids is available at Yoplait.com.

With funds raised through Yoplait’s Save Lids to Save Lives, the fight against breast cancer starts right next door. Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® for each pink lid redeemed online at Yoplait.com and via mail by December 31, 2011, up to $2 million.

Here's a great ACTION to take: If you like having fun and supporting a great cause, Passionately PInk for the Cure is for you!   It's as easy as planning something fun, inviting others to join you and raising money to fight breast cancer.  You have the freedom to choose what you do, whatever date you want, and how much money you want to raise to support Susan G. Investing in Our Communities

The Mid-Michigan Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is proud to announce our recent investment of more than $430,000 in community grants supporting projects in Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Jackson, Washtenaw, Shiawassee & Livingston Counties.  Partnering with several non-profit organizations, the new grants will ensure access to education, screening and survivorship programs for women in our communities.
