Komen Mid-Michigan Events
Ride for the Cure®
In 2010 Komen Mid-Michigan Affiliate hosted its first annual Ride for the Cure®. This event is much more than a cycling event - it is a dynamic new way for men, women and children of all ages to support the mission of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Registered Riders commit to raising a minimum of $500 to benefit the Komen Mid-Michigan Affiliate and choose to Ride 30, 60, or 100 miles! With every mile traveled and every dollar raised we move closer to the Komen vision of a world without breast cancer.
The Ride is designed to make a Big, Bold, Impact and it has done just that! On August 4th, 2012 the Komen Mid-Michigan Affiliate will host the 3rd annual Ride for the Cure in Ann Arbor.
The dollars raised through our Ride will be used to fund crucial screening, education, and survivorship programs to women who would not otherwise have access to these programs. It is the passion and commitment of our Riders, volunteers, community partners and sponsors that allow us to fund these live saving programs.
