Get Involved

You may be a runner, a volunteer or an activist. However you choose to get involved, just know that everything you do makes a difference. After all, without the support of people like you, the 10 million people who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the next 25 years could die.  These are our mothers, sisters, and friends who face breast cancer diagnoses every day. Susan G. Komen for the Cure® strives to raise funds and awareness through events and legislative actions. Breast cancer is still  claiming far too many of our loved ones’ lives. So, how will you get involved?

Race for the Cure Series:

The Race for the Cure is the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world, raising significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer!  There are several Race for the Cure events throughout Michigan!

Ride for the Cure:

The Ride for the Cure is much more than a cycling event!  It is a dynamic new way for men, women and children of all ages to support the mission of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Registered Riders commit to raising a minimum of $500 to benefit Komen Mid-Michigan, and choose to Ride 30, 60, or 100 miles!

Susan G. Komen 3-Day:

What can you expect from your Susan G. Komen 3-Day experience?  For many, it becomes one of the defining achievements of their lives.  But it can also be a deeply meaningful way to celebrate surviving, honoring someone lost or building hope for a future world without breast cancer.  The 2013 Michigan 3-Day event will be held August 16-18.  For more information or to register please click here.

Rally for the Cure:

IMPACT - Rally for the Cure makes a very BIG one!  Who would have thought that the game of golf and a group of passionate and generous individuals, could raise millions of dollars in an effort to end breast cancer!
